Week 5 of the Seminole Hoops Youth Rec League: Confidence Meets Consistency!
Week 5 marked another exciting step forward as progress continued to turn into consistent performance across the league. The pace of play remained high, fundamentals looked sharper, and players showed growing confidence in applying what they’ve learned during practices to real game situations.
Across all divisions, teams demonstrated better ball movement, stronger defensive rotations, and improved court awareness. Coaches noted clearer communication, smarter decision-making under pressure, and an increased willingness from players to trust teammates. Hustle, effort, and positive energy were on full display, making for a highly competitive and fun weekend of basketball.
As the season pushes on, players are beginning to find their roles, take initiative, and rise to new challenges—proof that hard work is paying off.

k-2nd
Julian Nicholas
A forward who can finish strong at the basket and grab every rebound that comes to him. He finished with 7 points and 9 rebounds helping his team get the win.
PJ Solomon
led his team with 15 points. Having the most points on. The team. With also having 12 rebounds to keep his team on the offensive.
3rd-4th
Myles Crider
With the most rebounds on his team he was able to help with keeping his team on the offensive.
Graham John
An amazing offensive player keeping his team in possession of the ball. His rebounds and points was a valuable contribution to winning the game.
Jacari Dely
A guard who can size his defender up and get to the rim. He finished with 8 points, 8 rebounds and 3 steals.
5th-6th
Gavin Smith
A guard who can get to the rim and facilitate for his team. He finished with 19 points and 4 assists leading his team to a win.
Michael Mosler
a guard who can control the floor and get to the basket with ease. He put up 19 points and closed the game out for his team in a close win.
7th-8th
Aleksandar Jeftic
A guard who can score whenever and displayed that with a total of 14 points but it doesn’t stop there. His ability to rebound is what helped his team convert with a total of 10 rebounds.
Ivan King
played hard from start to finish, making key plays and racking up assists that kept his teammates involved and energized. His unselfish effort and game-long intensity were a major reason his team came away with the victory.
Jace Reyes
A guard who can shoot the ball from long distance and had 4 threes. That’s not all he can do though he crashed the boards with 9 rebounds.
9th-11th
Miles Williams-Washington
A guard is someone who can rebound and put the ball up with ease and led his team to victory.
Elijah Cirino
played hard all game, scoring consistently and bringing tough, relentless defense on every possession. His all-around effort set the tone and led his team to a well-earned win.
