Seminole Hoops is excited to offer Youth Basketball leagues for aspiring athletes from Kindergarten through 11th grade in the surrounding areas, including Lake Mary, Longwood, Winter Springs, Oviedo, Heathrow, Seminole, Apopka, Daytona, Deltona, Altamonte Springs, and Port Orange.
Basketball League Details:
– Team Placement: Each player will be placed on a team, ensuring a supportive environment for growth and development.
– Season Duration: Players will participate in a full 7-week season of play, gaining valuable experience on the court.
– Jerseys Included: Each participant will receive a league jersey as part of their registration.
Player Level:
We welcome players with beginner to intermediate-level experience. Our divisions are carefully grouped by grade and/or similar skill and experience levels to promote fair competition and development.

My 16 year old has been playing at this gym since before it was owned by Seminole Hoops, and we couldn’t be happier with how it has grown. My son’s weekly basketball practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays have really helped improve his skills for game day. He’s more focused, more confident, and genuinely enjoys the game. The coaches are motivating and encouraging, and you can tell they care about the kids’ development. All around, a great experience with Seminole Sports Academy!

We’ve had great experiences ever since we found Seminole Sports. I’ve had both of my boys involved in the rec league, private training and AAU travel ball. Coaches are very supportive. They’re focused on improving not only a player’s skill set, but their over-all understanding of the game.
If there was an option for more stars, I would choose it without hesitation! Seminole Sports Academy has been an absolute safe haven for my kids. My son has coming here for two years now I can honestly say we are very happy with the dedication my son’s coach is with the team he goes above and beyond. My son loves coming here if he could sleep there he would. I’ve seen so much growth, dedication, discipline he’s extremely focus. Everyone feels like family. All the moms work together.It so nice to see the kids progressing together is the best feeling and of course specially when they are able to make those wins. Also love seeing the new gym floors and improvements that they keep making.

- Seminole Hoops has worked to make our two 12,000 square foot indoor facility’s as friendly, and family oriented as possible as well as working to make our youth athletes the best as possible.
- Seminole Hoops leagues offer the following divisions Kindergarten that is a division that is mainly fundamental skill building while having some exciting fun! a K-2nd Grade division which is played on the 8 foot hoop, 3/4 plays on 8.5 and 5/6, 7/8 & High School Grade divisions are all played on regulation 10 foot rims.
- The teams are picked by our Seminole Hoops staff to ensure each team is equal of talent. We rate all players individually in our series of pre-season workouts that are offered to our paid registrants.
- All games are played at our Air Conditioned Gym, we provide equipment needed to play each game, FHSAA & CFOA certified officials, awards, along with Staff always on the clock to ensure proper supervision is provided at all times.

EVALUATION TIMES
It is mandatory for players to attend both evaluation days prior to the start of the league. Evaluation times are as follows:
PRACTICE & GAME TIMES
- Practices and games are on Saturdays only.
- Each team will have a 30-minute practice and a 40-minute game (20-minute-half) each Saturday.
