Seminole Hoops Youth Rec League – Week 1 Recap
Week 1 of the Seminole Hoops Youth Rec League tipped off with great energy and excitement. From our youngest players in K–2nd grade to the high school division, athletes showed hustle, teamwork, and improvement during both practice and game play.
The action in Week 1 didn’t disappoint. Thank you to all the families, coaches, and staff who made the first weekend a success.

K-2ND GRADE
Graham John
Graham is a crafty young hooper with a natural gift for creating shots in tight spaces. He thrives with the ball in his hands, using quick handles, sharp footwork, and a smooth jumper to generate looks.
Julian Nicholas
Julian Nichols was a force on both ends tonight, dominating the boards and sparking the offense with his hustle.
3-4TH GRADE
Jacari Dely
Jacari is a dynamic guard who thrives as a scorer and floor-spacer. With a smooth shooting stroke and deep range, he forces defenses to stay locked in at all times.
Julian Nicholas
An aggressive guard who hustles across the floor, has a killer instinct, and creates shots for him and everybody else on the court
5-6TH GRADE
Logan Smith
Logan brought relentless energy, locking down on defense and turning stops into points.
Jaed Narvaez
Jaed Narvaez set the tone with his unselfish play, making clutch passes and keeping the team’s offense flowing.
Joshua Miro
He proved to be a reliable shooter, knocking down shots with confidence and providing a steady scoring option whenever the team needed it.
7-8TH GRADE
Dariush Ghllam
This team was led by their 5’9” guard, who scored 20 points with strong drives to the basket and clutch shooting. His size and skill made a big impact on both ends of the floor.
Moises Velazques
A 7th grader dominated with 30 points, showing skill, confidence, and star potential on the court.
Benjamin Farber
He was locked in offensively, finding ways to score at all three levels, while also setting up teammates with smart passes. On the defensive end, his hustle and active hands led to key steals that shifted momentum.
9-11TH GRADE
Tavarie Jenkins
Tavarie stepped up and led his team to victory, making big plays on both ends and showing true leadership when it mattered most.
Jayden Matos
Jayden showcased his skill with the ball in his hands, keeping defenders off balance with smooth dribbling and creating scoring opportunities for himself and his teammates.
Michael Guevara
Michael led his team to a close win, showing great leadership and making key plays when it mattered most.
